iPhone 12 vs iPhone 11: Here's the Deal

Are you excited about the iPhone 12? How does the iPhone 12 compare to the iPhone 11? Should you buy iPhone 11, or wait for iPhone 12?

We give you the dish to the confirmed and rumored upgrades!

The iPhone 12 models

First off, the iPhone 12 will have four models, unlike the iPhone 11 which had three.

The iPhone 12 sizes

According to multiple sources online, the entry-level model is a 5.4-inch iPhone 12, something new for Apple.

Then there’s a 6.1 inch iPhone 12, the same size as the regular iPhone 11.

Next comes the Pro models: the iPhone 11 Pro and Pro Max had 5.8 inches and 6.7 inches, while the iPhone 12 Pro and iPhone 12 Pro Max is rumored to have 6.1 and 6.7-inch sizes.

How comfortable these sizes will be in your hand depends on the cases you get for your iPhone, so check out our iPhone cases in the store! It’s not just about 360 protection, but also grip and comfort in using your iPhone! And looks, of course, because we only curate the best-looking cases!

Look and Feel

The iPhone 12 will have the same colors as iPhone 11, but Apple will still tweak colors according to popularity, and we’ve seen rumors of a deep blue iPhone 12 either for the Pro or Pro Max.

These colors would be great in a transparent minimalist case so you have phone protection without covering up the iPhone color you snagged!

According to sources, the iPhone 12 will have a similar design like the iPad Pro 2020: slimmer, flatter sides in contrast to iPhone 11’s rounded design. How thin? 7.5 mm thick, or ten percent thinner than the iPhone 11 Pro Max.

The notch of the iPhone 12 is reportedly smaller because the speaker is no longer in that area.

Other than these, we’ll have to wait and see what the iPhone 12 will do to make us fall in love with it at first sight (and touch).

Display

According to reports, all the iPhone 12 models will have OLED displays. This already has so many benefits compared to iPhone 11 LCD screens. OLED screens simply have better contrast, deeper blacks, wider and more vibrant color range, faster refresh rates, and fuller, better viewing angles.

The camera

We know most people care about this feature the most! And it looks like the iPhone 12 will not disappoint.

It will be fairly hard to top the iPhone 11 and iPhone 11 Pro because they’re among the best camera phones on the market right now. The iPhone 11 has wide and ultra-wide lenses while the Pro has telephoto zoom. AND who would forget to mention the Night mode and Smart HDR? These still make people weep happy tears at the perfection of their photos and videos.

The iPhone 12 will reportedly also have two camera lenses, and the iPhone 12 Pro and Pro Max will have three cameras and the new LiDAR scanner.

Performance

The iPhone 12 will likely also use Apple’s new A14 Bionic processor, Apple’s first 5nm chip, in contrast to the 7nm chip of the A13 Bionic.

This A14 Bionic processor will give your iPhone 12 the smoothness and speed of Macbook Pro. Better efficiency all around, with a promise of 15% faster performance at 30% less power.

That sounds so good, considering Apple’s non-stellar battery life.
